initial teaching alphabet

This book is the byproduct of studies I have done on variations of the roman alphabet. I was also researching ways children have been taught the alphabet and how they used that knowledge to learn reading and writing.
The letters that appear on the pages are to be sounded out phonetically, which would make it easier for children to learn reading once this specific alphabet was learned. The letters are paired with homophones that express the same phonetic sound.
The transition from learning this alphabet to learning how to read was so difficult for children that the entire process ceased being taught shortly after its initiation.
